Performance and Ride
As you might expect, the performance of this off-road monster is truly next-level. The Dualie XR Steep’s unique build and carefully selected componentry work together to deliver an exceptionally comfortable ride, and this bike is versatile enough to excel off-road and on city streets.
The bike’s powerful mid-drive motor also blew us away, providing a massive amount of power and torque for hauling a trailer loaded with large game or climbing steep hills.
The Dualie XR Steep features a 75/25 weight distribution which provides more front-end grip — something that’s really helpful when it comes to avoiding crashes. The 180mm hydraulic braking is also impressive, and the dual front brakes deliver twice the braking power of typical two-wheeled e-bikes. This is something that’s most noticeable during steep descents, and the brakes do a great job of keeping this heavy bike under control.
Build Quality
The quality of this e-bike is what you’d expect for something in this price range. Well-known for its high-end build quality, Rungu does a wonderful job of making sure that every part and component is assembled with care, and all of Rungu’s hunting e-bikes are built to order and handcrafted in the brand’s California factory.
