Founded in 2016 by Shengdong Xie, HAOQI is another brand that is strongly focused on the growing fat tire e-bike market. HAOQI’s 2023 lineup consists of 6 highly capable rides that are designed for comfort, versatility, and all-terrain performance.

HAOQI’s electric bikes come fully loaded with high-quality components like powerful BAFANG motors, high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, Tektro disc brakes, integrated front and rear lights, mudguards, cargo racks, LCD displays, and more.

We’re also impressed with HAOQI’s warranty. Offering riders an extended 2-year warranty provides customers with added peace of mind in the event of a manufacturing defect and shows that the brand is serious about standing behind the bikes it makes.

In this review of HAOQI’s electric bicycle range, we’ll take a look at each of its 2023 models and compare features, performance, and more. We’ll also fill you in on how HAOQI’s customer service performed in our tests and tell you about current promotions that you can take advantage of to save some money on a new e-bike.

    Warranty & Customer Service

While the majority of today’s e-bike producers include a 1-year warranty, each HAOQI fat tire e-bike comes with an extended 2-year warranty which provides additional coverage to customers in the event of a manufacturing defect. It’s always a good sign when brands are serious about standing behind the bikes they make, and having a full 2 years of coverage is great for added peace of mind.

Additionally, HAOQI provides customers with a 15-day return policy. Unfortunately, the terms of the company’s refund policy require the payment of a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs.

Lastly, whenever we rate electric bicycles, we always test the brand’s customer service department to see how responsive the company is to submitted inquiries and reported issues. HAOQI performed well in this category, with someone at the company’s customer support department responding to our email inquiry in about 5 hours…

    Very good…

I’ve owned a Black Leopard since October 2022. I’m 6’1″ and 275 lbs, so the large frame fat desire design is a good fit – but it is a big and heavy bike. The power and acceleration are both very good, and the ride is good, especially with the front shock. 15mph in PA1 and first gear, where I spend most of my time. I’ve topped 32mph in PA5 and 7th gear on flat roads, but that eats battery. I commute about four miles in each direction. In the winter months, commuting with the lights on does suck more battery, but in normal daytime conditions, battery life is good.

Had my Cheetah since September. Love it but today while charging the battery and charger fried, how do I go about getting them replaced?

I’m very happy with my choice…

I have the dual battery Antelope. The power is great, the ride is smooth with the fork dampers. I have the rear rack, pannier bags and a basket, great carrying capacity. I have really tested the range yet but, so far, I’ve ridden 35 in on day and still had more than 35% battery left, according to the LED indicator. I’ve added lights to the standard front and rear, although those are definitely adequate.

The accompanying documents were a little sparse, lacking some of the technical data I would like. Getting a coherent response from Customer Service has been inconsistent but, they have come through when I finally do talk with them. I’ve only had the bike for about 5 months so, I’m still learning about the details of it. I was able to adjust the brake cable tension, that was very easy.

Overall I’m very happy with my choice and I’m looking forward to many great rides around the island. I live in Honolulu, on Oahu.
