Ferla Electric Cargo Bikes Review (2023)

The bikes are white label bikes from jxcycle in China. Ferla just brands them and markets and creates a better customer experience. They are definitely not high quality and are overpriced for what you get. They are still decent bikes but I would recommend ordering them off Alibaba from the supplier. The whole line can be found for under 1000 dollars plus shipping.

So I actually purchased one of Ferla Bikes earlier models back in March of 2020. Knowing this was a huge purchase for us, I did a bunch of research. Feras, the owner, was super kind and helpful. I was impressed and ultimately made the decision to buy.

My experience with our Ferla bike has been amazing. Over the past 3 years, we have ridden it over 1,000 miles… and we’ve had ZERO issues. I haven’t had to spend any extra money on it since my original purchase. My kids LOVE the bike. We use it most every day. It has turned mundane errands into fun outdoor adventures. For my family… it’s been super fun!

I love that this bike gets us outside more. It sure is great to see everybody turning their heads to look at our bike. I get called the “Fun Dad” all the time! We bring a speaker along to listen to music and ride everywhere… the park, the library, grocery store, doctor, church, school, etc… Highly recommend Ferla Bikes.

By far the worst investment we have made – cannot reiterate often enough that one should stay away from Ferla products, and the company.

Their customer service is horrible. We ultimately ended up speaking to their CEO Feras, who pretended to want to help, but essentially offered no solution to a malfunctioning cargo bike. His best offer was to have a guy working for a phone company assess the bike.

Within 2 weeks of purchasing the bike, we realized major technical issues. The bike would take off without us pedaling, or initiating movement. My husband ultimately got into a major accident due to the bike malfunctioning. I notified the CEO Feras, and never heard back from him again.

Their reviews must be self-written. Whenever they get a negative review, their response is that it’s not a real customer, but it’s coming from a competitor.

We obtained a new cargo from baboa, and we are incredibly happy. The Ferla bike showed evidence of erosion within a few weeks, nice until you actually use it. It’s not high quality at all, and unsafe!!! You do not want your children to be sitting in a bike that dislodges like this. There are great cargo bikes out there, do not go for Ferla!
