Cyrusher XF900 Review: E-Bike Overview
The e-bike landscape is growing by the day and it’s a good thing. There are more options than ever, and e-bikes continue to go mainstream, becoming more accessible to a wider range of riders.
At first glance, the Cyrusher XF900 might just look like a typical e-bike, but a closer look reveals a few surprises. The XF900 is the brand’s top-of-the-line electric bike, and it’s a model that isn’t for the faint of heart. A fat tire, all-terrain machine that’s built from the ground up to handle anything you throw at it, the responsive XF900 delivers an impressive package of performance, features, and affordability.
This motorcycle-inspired ride features a very capable full-suspension design for improved off-road handling and the stock 26″ x 4″ Chaoyang fat tires do well in everything from sand to snow. The moto-style front fork works very well when it comes to smoothing out the bumps, and it’s the same type of setup that Cyrusher went with on their new Kommoda step-through e-bike.
Powered by a 750W BAFANG rear hub motor that puts out 80Nm of torque, Cyrusher’s XF900 offers plenty of punch off-the-line and handles steep hill-climbing, backcountry roads, and rugged off-road trails with ease. This is the same motor used in the best-selling Cyrusher XF800, and it performs exceptionally well. The included 48V 17Ah Samsung battery comes with an IP65 waterproof rating and delivers a 62-mile range.
Stopping power is equally impressive, thanks to the Tektro/Zoom hydraulic disc brakes.
As mentioned, the XF900 is a big bike and looks even larger in person (if portability or storage is a concern, we recommend checking out Cyrusher’s XF690 Maxs or the XF650 which shaves off 13 lbs of weight). Weighing in at 74 lbs, the XF900 is 75.5″ long with a 36″ standover height and a 47.2″ wheelbase. Capable of supporting a max payload of 330 lbs, it can easily handle larger riders along with a cargo load on the bike’s rear rack. If you’re someone who prefers the easy access design of a step-through frame, Cyrusher’s brand new Kuattro is definitely worth a look.

With 5 pedal assist levels and throttle mode, the XF900 delivers a comfortable ride and the bike handles well in all conditions. The Chaoyang fat tires and full suspension setup do a great job of smoothing out rough terrain and the XF900 is easy to maneuver, despite its larger size.
One ride on the XF900 will leave you in love with the bike’s zippy off the line performance and ability to navigate large inclines. The BAFANG 750W motor delivers a nice amount of torque and this bike is an absolute blast to ride on everything from city streets to off-the-beaten-path trails.
Cyrusher packs their bikes well for shipping and the XF900 doesn’t require much assembly. The company does a good job of simplifying the assembly process with a nice step-by-step instructional video that walks you through the entire process in an easy-to-follow manner.
Build quality is also quite good. While the overall finish isn’t going to be on par with much pricier, higher-end electric bicycles, you get a lot of value for your money with this bike.
Aesthetics is something that’s very subjective, and the XF900’s design and paint finish aren’t as appealing to us as some of the other e-bikes we’ve reviewed. It’s not an ugly bike by any stretch, but the overall appearance just doesn’t look top-shelf in our opinion.
Cyrusher includes several nice bonuses with the XF900, including a rear cargo rack, MTB air pump, wrench, and front and rear fenders. In addition to the included bonus accessories, Cyrusher also sells a growing range of compatible accessories including saddles, panniers, mirrors, batteries, chargers, and more.
Unlike some other consumer-direct e-bike manufacturers that are headquartered in Asia, Cyrusher consistently gets high ratings in the customer service department, and our experience has also been positive with the brand’s customer support responding to our submitted support ticket in only a few hours…
Cyrusher is a brand that’s easy to reach and the company provides customers with several contact options, including toll-free phone support, live chat, and a support desk on the company’s website.
All Cyrusher electric bikes are backed by a generous 2-year warranty which provides coverage in the event of a manufacturing defect. Additionally, Cyrusher throws in a 14-day return policy for added peace of mind.

Pros and Cons
- Very good value overall
- Feature-rich design
- Fat tires and full suspension delivery impressive all-terrain experience
- Powerful 750W BAFANG motor provides plenty of speed and hill-climbing ability
- 48V 17Ah battery is waterproof and delivers 62 miles of range
- 180mm hydraulic disc brakes offer outstanding stopping power
- Generous 2-year warranty
- 14-day return policy
- Free shipping
- The quality of the included fenders could be better, they're overly flexible in our opinion
- While looks are subjective, we're not fans of the bike's paint finish
- The $2,699 MSRP puts it out of reach of many riders (although you do get a lot of bang for your buck with this e-bike)
The Cyrusher XF900 is a very capable fat tire electric bike with a design that’s well-thought-out and executed. While the XF900’s aesthetics could be improved in our opinion, the most important thing is how an e-bike performs and in that respect, the XF900 will leave you grinning ear-to-ear.
Cyrusher’s XF900 is a beast of a bike that’s a serious option for the serious e-bike rider. It’s a well-made bike and the quality is immediately apparent when you pull it out of the box.
At 74 lbs, this bike isn’t exactly lightweight but the weight isn’t really noticeable. The Cyrusher handles well, particularly for a larger e-bike, and it cruises comfortably at all speeds.
We also love the fact that Cyrusher is a brand that seems to “get” the importance of providing top-shelf customer support, and the 2-year warranty and 14-day return window prove that the company is serious about standing behind the bikes they make.
We’ve been card-carrying members of the fat tire fan club for quite a while now, and the XF900 does not disappoint. If you’re looking for a high-performance ride that offers outstanding versatility and value, the Cyrusher XF900 is certainly a model worth considering.
